대학 및 학과 추천의사에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석연구

The Analysis of Factors Influencing University and Department Recommendations: Focusing on Middle and Small Universities in Non-metropolitan Areas

본 연구는 비수도권에 위치한 중ㆍ소규모 대학 재학생들의 대학 및 학과 추천 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 2015년 한국교육개발원의「대학의 교수학습 질 제고 전략 탐색 연구조사(NASEL)」데이터를 활용하여 전공강의 질, 교양강의 질, 교수와의 상호작용, 학내 구성원 간의 관계, 대학의 학생지원서비스, 학교의 강조점을 독립변인으로 투입하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 비수도권의 중ㆍ소규모에 재학 중인 대학생들의 대학 추천 의사에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 학교에서 제공하는 사회, 문화행사에의 만족도였고, 장학금 지원 프로그램, 선배 및 동료 학생과의 관계 만족도, 흥미롭고 지적 호기심을 자극하는 전공수업의 순이었다. 다음으로 학과 추천의사에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 요인은 선배 및 동료 학생과의 관계 만족도였고, 흥미롭고 지적 호기심을 자극하는 전공수업, 진로 관련 교수와의 면담의 순이었다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 비수도권 중ㆍ소규모 대학의 발전방향과 대학교육의 질 관리에 대해 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting University and Department Recommendations. In this study, logistic regression analysis was carried out by inputting the quality of major lecture, quality of general lecture, interaction with professor, relations among members in the school, student support service of college, school emphasis as independent variables. Utilizing the data of Non-metropolitan area small and medium-sized university students extracted from NASEL data set collected in 2015 by the KEDI. The results of the analysis were as follows. First, The factors influencing college students’ recommendation to college were satisfaction with the social and cultural events provided by the school, satisfaction with the scholarship support program, satisfaction with senior and fellow students, and exciting and interesting curriculum. Second, the factors affecting the recommendation physician were satisfaction with the senior and fellow students, exciting major classes, and interviews with career professors. Based on the results of this study, the direction of development of non―metropolitan small and medium sized universities and quality management of university education were suggested.
