Purpose : This study is identifying how spiritual well-being effects on burnout and self-esteem to nurses in cancer hospital. Methods : We recruited nurses(N=200) from a cancer hospital in G city as a participant. The data were collected for 10 days from December 18, 2017 and analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 program. The study was approved by IRB. Results : The participants’ mean scores were spiritual well-being(3.04/4), burnout( 2.72/5), and self-esteem(3.56/5). The negative correlations were showed both “spiritual well-being and burnout”( r=-.51, p<.001), and “burnout and self-esteem”(r=-.55, p<.001) while “spiritual well-being and self-esteem” showed positive correlation(r=.57, p<.001). The regression model explained 41.1% of the total variance in self-esteem. Conclusion : Based on our results, managing self-esteem of nurses in cancer hospital and a program that is balanced between spiritual well-being and burnout are required.
