본 연구에서는 장애인형을 활용한 비장애유아 대상 장애이해교육 프로그램이 지니는 의의에 대한 탐색적 고찰을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 비장애유아를 대상으로 하는 장애이해교육 프로그램의 실태를 살펴보았다. 다음으로 반편견 중재도구로서의 사연 있는 인형과 장애학적 구현으로서의 장애인형이 어떠한 인식론적 차이를 지니는지에 관하여 고찰하였다. 결과적으로 유아기부터 바람직한 장애관을 형성할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 장애인형을 활용한 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 언급하였다.
The purpose of this study was to construct the education program about the understanding of disability by using disability dolls, the disability education program for children with disabilities compared persona-dolls with disability dolls and analyzed. The research method was to search for the right direction of the understanding education for children with disabilities by exploring the effect of the disability dolls and persona-dolls as a mediating tool and understanding the direction and meaning of disability education using the disability dolls. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, it was necessary to have an open program to recognize the diversity of each other and to accept the existence of heterogeneous opponents. Secondly, children s disability understanding education program should reflect the characteristics of children s interest, experience, and play. Thirdly, disability education was new paradigm and required disability studies approach. Fourthly, disability dolls as the intervention tools provided that children could experience enough discovery, understanding, and positive disability acceptance about disability.
