孔子의 ‘思無邪’說과 引詩에 관한 일고찰

A study on Kongzi s ‘siwuxie’ theory and Lunyu s ‘Yinshi’ manner

공자는 시경 에 대해 ‘사무사’라고 총괄했다. 본고는 그 의미에 대해 자세하게 살펴보았다. 그 다음 논어 에서 인용한 시경 의 시구를 찾아 분석했다. 총 9차례의 용례에 대해 살펴보았다. 그 결과 공자가 말한 ‘사무사’의 뜻과 부합하게, 공자는 시경 의 시구를 원뜻 그대로 사용했다는 것을 알게되었다. 결론적으로 말해 공자가 시경 의 시구를 인용하면서 원뜻과 무관하게 비유하거나 왜곡해서 사용했을 리가 없음을 규명했다. 시의 창작 배경과 ‘인시’ 속의 상황이 다르기 때문에, 시경 작품에 대한 명확한 이해가 전제되지 않으면 논어 의 인시를 충분히 이해하는 데에 어려움이 뒤따를 수밖에 없다. 본고는 그 검토를 통해서 ‘사무사’로 총괄되는 시경 에 대한 공자의 인식이 논어 에 나타난 인시의 과정 속에 그대로 반영되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Kongzi had comprehensively reviewed and refer to Shijing as ‘Siwuxie (思無邪)’. This study was looked at seriously the meaning. And then it researched and studied Shijing’s poem was quoted from Lunyu(論語). It was looked at 9 examples. Consequently, accord with the meaning of ‘Siwuxie’ that Kongzi told, Kongzi accepted primary meaning of Shijing’s poem. At a word, Kongzi couldn’t have quoted comparing extraneously or distorting the primary meaning of Shijing’s poem. Just, it may take some time to judge completely the same meaning since the background of a poem and the context of a conversation is different. Because there was no clear understanding of Shijing so it must take som time to understand fully Lunyu’s Yinshi(引詩). But Kongzi’s perception of Shijing is clearly reflected in the quotation of poem.
