민간어린이집 보육교사의 다차원적 공감능력이 직무소진에 미치는 영향

Effects of Multidimensional Empathy on Burnout among Nursing Teachers in Private Nursery School

본 연구는 보육교사의 다차원적 공감능력이 직무소진에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 2016년 5월 17일부터 19일까지 I시 소재 보육교사 보수교 육에 참석한 보육교사 중 민간어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사를 대상으로, 구조화된 설문지를 활용한 자가 보고식 응답자료 154부를 분석하였다. 최종 회귀모형은 통계 적으로 적합하였고 전체 모형의 설명력은 51.6%이었다. 다차원적 공감능력 중 정서적 공감요소인 공감적 관심, 개인적 고통과 일반적 특성 중 1일 평균 근무시간이 직무소진의 영향 요인으로 나타났으며 인지적 공감은 직무소진에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 보육교사의 다차원적 공감능력 가운데 정서적 공감을 증진시키기 위해 정서적 공감 요소별 프로그램의 개발 및 적정 근무시간 등을 고려한 정책적 접근을 위한 근거자료를 제공하였다.

This study aims to identify the effects of multidimensional empathy on burnout among nursing teachers in private nursery school. In this cross-sectional research, 154 nursing teachers in I city were participated from May 17 to May 19, 2016. Structured questionnaires were general characteristics, multidimensional empathy, and burnout. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The results were as follows; the regression model was fit and total explanatory power was 51.6%. Empathic concern and personal distress as affective empathy among multidimensional empathy and average daily working time were significant factors, but not cognitive empathy. In conclusion, these findings should be consider as an evidence for support to prevent burnout of nursing teachers and improve their multidimensional empathy as well as average working hours.
