로잔 운동과 종교다원주의

The Global Evangelical Movement in Lausanne and Religious Pluralism

본 논문은 종교다원주의의 도전 앞에서 기독교가 어떻게 대처해야할 것인지, 특히 타종교와의 관계에 대하여 어떤 태도를 가져야 할 것인 지에 대한 질문을 전제로, 현재 WCC나 한국의 KNCC가 보여주는 종교 적인 진리의 상대화이론에서 기독교신앙의 정체성을 포기한 채 종교 다원적이며 종교 혼합주의적으로 나아가는 것이 아니라, 정체성을 보존하면서 이웃종교를 대하는 바람직한 방법으로 로잔의 복음운동이 보여주는 선교신학적인 방법론을 소개하고, 거기서 종교다운주의 도전을 극복하고 혼합주의적인 방향으로의 급변을 방어하는 선교신학적인 지혜를 찾고자 하는 의도에서 방법을 제안해 보았다. 전체 내용으로는 로잔 운동의 발전사와 계속적으로 진행된 역사를 소개하면서, 특히 주목되는 겻은 로잔 언약에서부터, 마닐라 선언, 케이 프타운의 행동지침 등에서 그간 급진적으로 추진해 온 WCC나, 한국의 KNCC의 타종교에 대한 포용적이며 관용적인 태도를 지양하고, 기독교 신앙의 정체성을 고수하면서, 그리스도의 이웃 사랑의 계명과 함께 이웃종교에 대하여 포용적이며 관용적인 대화방법의 지혜를 찾을 수 있음을 발견하게 되었으며, 이러한 태도는 타종교인들과의 포용적이며 관용 적인 대화에만 필요한 것이 아니라, 기독교 내적으로 분열하고 있는 한국교회의 진보적인 신학자들이 보수적인 신학자들을 향한 포용과 관용 적인 태도에도 필요한 원리임을 지적하였다. 그리고 거기서 한국교회의 참다운 선교와 연합이 성립되리라는 것을 기대해 보았다.

How does Christianity have to cope with the challenge of religious pluralism? In particular, the question of what kind of attitude should be given to the relationship with other religions should be interpreted as the relational pluralism of religious truth, which is now shown by WCC and Korea s KNCC, But it is a way of preserving identity and introducing the missiological theological methodology of the Lausanne evangelical movement as a desirable way to deal with neighboring religions, I have suggested a method in the intention of finding mission theological wisdom. The whole contents include the history of the Lausanne movement and the history of its continuing progress, the WCC which has radically promoted the Lausanne Covenant, the Manila Declaration, the Cape Town s Code of Conduct, and other religions of Korea s KNCC We have found that we can find the wisdom of communicative methods that are inclusive and tolerant to neighboring religions, along with the commandment of love of Christ s neighbors, while embracing the inclusive and tolerant attitudes of Christ and adhering to the identity of Christian faith. Attitude is not only necessary for inclusive and tolerable dialogue with other religious people but also pointed out that the progressive theologians of the Korean church, which is divided internally within Christianity, are necessary principles for embracing and tolerant attitudes toward conservative theologians. And I expected that there would be a true mission and unity of Korean church.
