원예 진로교육 프로그램이 다문화 이주여성의 자기효용과 문화 적응 및 진로준비 행동에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Evocational Education Program based on Horticultural Activities on the Self-efficacy, Social Adjustment, and Guidance Preparation Action for Married Immigrant Women

This study performed 17 gardening course education for 4 months with 27 multi-cultural migrated females to see the effects of the program on self-efficiency, cultural adaptation, and career preparation. Before the program, besides collecting basic materials for the research targeting multi-cultural migrated females, a survey measured self-efficiency, cultural adaptation, and career preparation. As results of the comparison between self-efficiency before and after the gardening education program, self-efficiencies of participated multi-cultural migrated females greatly enhanced, and as a lower factor, general self-efficiency also showed big difference before and after the gardening activity. In addition, the gardening course program had positive effects on cultural adaptation but showed no significant difference statistically. Career preparation had effective difference before and after the gardening course education. Positive evaluation of this gardening course education program was continued to self-efficiency, cultural adaptation, and career preparation, and especially the higher self-efficiency, the higher the career preparation. With the result of this study, the gardening course education program targeting multi-cultural females will give positive effects on increasing self-efficiency, cultural adaptation, social entry, and career preparation of migrated females from various cultures in the step where they determine and prepare their career as individual lives.
