Growth Environments Analysis and Control Technologies for the Increasing of the Mushroom Productivity Based on ICT

  • 5

Currently the most of the mushroom farm looks like the automated producing factory. All producing process of the farm is clearly distinguished and used the mechanical system. Everyday starts two or three times mushroom production life cycle processes. It’s depending on the farm’s production conditions. The detail process procedures are a little different from the kinds of mushrooms. The result of the final step of the every cycle is output. Each productivity is different from the other time’s productivity. It is not easy to find the causes of the difference, because the farms have no any monitoring and tracking system for the mushroom growth duration. To find out the optimal growth environment, we developed two kinds of system called, the mushroom growth management system(MGMS) and the mushroom growth analysis system(MGAS). MGMS operates in the farm and gathers the sensor and RFID data. Sensors are installed in the rooms(cultivation room, sprout room, and growth room) and RFID tag are attached on the pallets. MGAS analyses the gathered data from the farm. It is based on the concept of the productivity. That is, maximum productivity may be caused by the optimal growth environment. Finally, the manager of MGAS decides on the‘what is the optimal growth environment’and send the information to each farm.
