아로마 흡입법이 관상동맥 조영술 대상자의 불안 및 수면에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of aromatherapy on anxiety and sleep of inpatients for coronary angiography. The nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design was used in this study. The subjects of this experiment was 42 inpatients in internal cardiology unit of A hospital located in B city. The aromatherapy group(n=21) and the control group(n=21) were selected by randomly. The experimental group were treated by aroma oil of Bergamot, Lavender and Ylang Ylang in the ratio of 3:3:1 after preliminary research. And let it fall three drops on the 4X4cm gauze, it was inhaled at 3cm distance for 5 minutes as a general respiration and we let people breathe deeply three times. They took a 50cm blending aroma oil necklace and then making persons inhale the fragrance until 8 am next morning. 21 inpatients were in the control group, who received the general care. To check the state of anxiety(STAI) and sleep(VSH), satisfaction of sleep by viswail analogue scale(VAS) were used. Data were analyzed by X2-test, t-test using SPSS win 18.0 version. To make sure of internal consistency in the questionnaire, Cronbach’s α was used. The subjects were homogeneous in general characteristics and state anxiety and sleep, satisfaction of sleep before experiment. The state of anxiety by STAI was significantly lower(t=2.25, p=.03), the state of sleep by VSH(t=-2.24, p=.03) and satisfaction of sleep(VAS)(t=-2.69, p=.01) was significantay higher after aromatherapy in the experimental group. In conclusion, these findings indicate that aromatherapy using essential oils could be effective in lowering the anxiety and increasing the sleep of inpatient for coronary angiography.
