Effects of Horticultural Activity Complex Environmental Education Program on the Environmental Awareness, Attitude and Behavior in Elementary School Students

This study was designed to plan horticultural activities complex environmental education program, and to confirm the effects on change of environmental awareness, behavior and attitudes in elementary school students. The program was designed eight time, at a time was composed of 120 minutes; theory classes throughout the 60 minutes, 60 minutes late environmental practice lessons. The program was performed to 38 elementary school students. It was conducted in accordance with a before and after survey of students and tested about effects. As a result, there was a significant difference in all fields, levels are increased (after conducting program than before program implementation). Environmental education of elementary school students is very important in the formation of general concepts of time about the environment, the ecosystem and so on. This study is determined will be able to play an important role in the environment for elementary education. For each environmental education conducted a detailed study by field, we expect to help elementary school students in more effective environmental education program design.
