국내 자생허브가 아토피피부염 피부장벽 기능회복에 미치는 효과

Effect of Herbs Grown in Korea on Recovery of Skin Barrier Function in Atopic Dermatitis

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of mixed oil (ART oil) from Agastache rugosa, Rosemarinus officinalis and Thymus vulgaris essential oils on atopic dermatitis (AD) model of NC/Nga mice. Twenty-four 6week-NC/Nga mice were assigned to control group (C, n=8), AD-induced group (E, n=8), and ART oil-treated group (E, n=8) that had two session treatments per day for 6days. Epidermal thickness, total amount of mast cells and degranulation of mast cell in AD-induced mice were measured. ART oil-treated group showed significantly the decrease of the epidermal thickness, total amount of mast cells and degranulated mast cells compared with AD-induced group. ART oil may be a putative resources for care or treatment of AD in the view of nursing intervention.
