토양 비소 오염원의 농도가 봉의꼬리의 생육 및 비소 축적에 미치는 영향

Effect of Arsenic Concentrations in Soil on Growth and Arsenic Accumulation of Pteris multifida

This study was carried out to analyze the effect of arsenic concentrations on growth and arsenic accumulation ability of Pteris multifida. P. multifida was cultivated on compost contaminated with different concentrations of As (III) and As (V) for 12 weeks. Treatment of 50 and 500 mgㆍkg⁻¹ arsenic showed similar growth to that of arsenic untreated control plot regardless of arsenic types, but plant height tended to decrease as concentration of arsenic increased. Arsenic accumulation of aerial part grown with arsenic concentrations of 50 and 500 mgㆍkg⁻¹ were 802.7, 2,956.0 mgㆍkg⁻¹ DW respectively in As (III) treatment and were higher than As (V) treatment (622.6, 2,841 mgㆍkg⁻¹ DW). However, arsenic accumulation of As (V) treatment (3,883.3, 5,250.6 mgㆍkg⁻¹ DW) were higher than that of As (III) treatment (3,347.8, 4,272.7 mgㆍkg⁻¹ DW) when cultivated in 1,000 and 2,000 mgㆍkg⁻¹ of arsenic. In all concentrations, except 2,000 mgㆍkg⁻¹ DW, the accumulation of underground part was higher in As (III) treatment than in As (V) treatment.
