식물 윤리를 적용한 대안학교 인성교육용 원예치료 프로그램

A Study on the Development of Horticultural Therapy Program for Personal Education on the Ground of Plant-ethics

In this study, 10 students who participated in the horticultural therapy program and 10 students of control group were selected and surveyed in the alternative school before and after the program. The study period was 2013.9.2~2013.11.26 and the horticultural therapy program was carried out once a week. The SPSS WIN 18.0 program was employed to analyze the collected data, and Wilcoxon singed rank test was utilized to compare their pre and post test collective averages. Before the horticultural therapy program, measurement was done on self-esteem and self-concept scale to find out whether there was a homogeneity between the two groups and concluded that the two groups were in not much differences, feasible enough to proceed the therapy. The result of identifying the area of self-esteem, concluded in treatment group’s p=0.000 (<0.001) which showed a statistical significance. As a result, horticultural activity program for personal education on the ground of plant-ethics was evaluated and analyzed as being effective for juvenile positive development of self-esteem and self-concept.
