Study on Development of a Disaster Safety Information Database Dictionary

데이터 표준화는 다양한 목적으로 개발되는 시스템의 데이터베이스를 구성하고 있는 데이터 정보 요소에 대한 명칭이나 정의, 형식이나 규칙에 대한 원칙을 수립하여 이를 전사적으로 적용하는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 데이터 표준화 작업은 데이터의 정확한 의미를 파악할 수 있게 하고, 각기 다른 시스템에서 고유하게 적용된 데이터에 대한 정의를 제시할 수도 있다. 본연구에서는 재난안전정보의 공유 및 관리를 위한 데이터의 표준화 방안 제시를 통해 재난안전 데이터의 공동활용을 요구하는 사용자에게 표준화된 데이터 형식 및 규칙의 적용을 통해 데이터의 품질을 향상시키고, 데이터 변환이나 정제에 소요되는 시간과 노력을 절감시키는 역할을 수행하고자 재난안전정보 DB용어사전을 작성, 제시하였다.

Data standardization establishes the principles of names, definitions, formats, and rules for data information elements scattered throughout a system and applies them across an enterprise. The purpose of data standardization is not only to identify the exact meaning of data, but also to reconcile conflicting views on the data. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of data by applying consistent data formats and rules to users who commonly use disaster safety information data. This is accomplished by standardizing data for the sharing and management of disaster safety information. To reduce the time and effort required for data conversion and refinement, we developed a disaster safety information database dictionary.
