문제중심학습(PBL)에서 팀 기여도 중심의 자기평가⋅동료평가의 관계 및 평가 준거: 대학 역사교육 전공 수업의 사례

The Relationship and Evaluation Criteria of Self Evaluation and Peer Evaluation based on Team Contribution in Problem-Based Learning (PBL): A Case Study of classes of History Education in College

본 연구는 문제중심학습(Problem-Based Learning:PBL)에서 시행하는 자기평가와 동료평가의 점수를 비교하여 그 관계를 파악하고, 자기평가와 동료평가를 위해 학생들은 어떠한 평가 준거를 활용하는지 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 K대학역사교육 전공 수업에서 PBL을 시행한 후 학생들이 제출한 자기평가지, 동료평가지의 점수를 통계적으로 분석하였으며, 성찰일지 중 “자신과 그룹 구성원들 각각의 역할과 기여도”에 대한 서술을 질적으로 분석하여 자기평가⋅동료평가를 위한 평가 준거를 추출하였다. 연구 결과 동료평가 점수가 자기평가 점수보다 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 3번의 과제 모두에서 자기평가 점수가 동료평가 점수보다 높은 학생의 비율은 약 30%로 나타났다. 학생들은 자기평가⋅동료평가를 위해 책임있는 역할 수행, 성실성, 적극적 참여와 의견(피드백) 제공, 협력, 타인 존중과 수용적 태도, 리더로서의 역할을 준거로 활용하고 있었다. 이 연구는 PBL에서 자기평가 및 동료평가를 위한 보다 구체적인 준거를 마련하고, 이들 평가의 신뢰도와 타당도를 제고하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the relation of self-evaluation and peer evaluation in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and to analyze what evaluation criteria students use for self-evaluation and peer evaluation. After conducting PBL in classes of History Education in K University, I analyzed the scores of the self-evaluation and peer evaluation submitted by the students statistically. Then I qualitatively analyzed the description of role and contribution of each member of our group of the reflection and extracted evaluation criteria for self evaluation and peer evaluation. The results showed that self evaluation scores were higher than peer evaluation scores. The percentage of students with self-evaluation scores higher than peers in all three tasks, was about 30%. Students were using personal responsibility, integrity, active participation and feedback, cooperation, receptive attitude, and leadership as a criterion for self-evaluation and peer evaluation. This study can be used as a basic data for establishing more concrete criteria for self-evaluation and peer evaluation in PBL, and to improve the reliability and validity of these evaluations.
