A Study on Origin of Risk and Development of Trade Risk Management

This research aims to review risk management in foreign trade. This implies a necessity for future development in that research area. Risk management refers to the preparation of countermeasures, tasks, policies, management, and strategies to properly deal with the risks associated with the risks or to respond to them. With the progress of globalization and digitization at present, there are many cases in which the survival and maintenance of companies are seriously affected. In developed countries such as the United States, Germany, and Japan, large accidents that can affect the durability of companies occurred. Moreover, in a hyperlinked cyber world, companies need to better manage the risks associated with cyber attacks. Companies that fail to respond appropriately to these risks can suffer losses and corporate image fall with it. However, companies that manage risk well can be the occasion for the company. This paper categorizes and explains the concept of risk management and how appropriate risk management tools and methods have been researched and developed. In conclusion, Some trade risk management should be considered in the view of international business.
