양촌(陽村) 권근(權近) 한시에 나타난 죽음의 형상과 미적 특질

양촌(陽村) 권근(權近, 1352-1409)은 고려후기 문학사를 대표하는 주요한 시인 중 한명이다. 그의 문집인 양촌집 에는 36제 40수의 만시류 작품이 전해진다. 권근은 문학사적인 측면에서 보면 고려후기와 조선전기를 잇는 가교 역할을 감당한 중요한 작가지만, 만시만을 놓고 보더라도 고려시대 최고의 만시 작가인 목은 이색을 계승하여 많은 양의 만시를 작시하였다. 뿐만 아니라 다음 세대인 조선초 문단의 서거정 등에게 이를 계승하였기 때문에 14세기 말엽에서 15세기 초엽의 가장 중요한 만시 작가라고 규정할 수 있다. 양촌 만시를 시체(詩體)로 구분해보면 칠언율시가 20제 21수로 가장 많고그 외 오언율시가 10제 11수, 칠언절구가 5제 7수, 오언절구 1제 1수이다.즉 양촌은 칠언율시와 오언율시로 대부분의 만시 창작을 하였음을 알 수 있는 데, 이는 기본적으로는 고려후기 문단의 만시 창작 경향이 오언율시와 칠언절 구로 짓는 것이었음을 생각해보면, 대체로 문학사의 큰 흐름을 따르는 것이었 다고 할 수 있겠다. 양촌시의 표현기법은 만시 특유의 서정성을 기본으로 한감각적인 묘사에 그 특장이 있다. 특히 묘사 위주의 시에서는 유독 첩어의 사용이 빈번히 보이는데, 이는 의성어·의태어 같은 감각어를 사용하여 묘사를 주로 했기 때문이고, 이같은 감각적 시들은 작시법상 당풍(唐風)에 속한다고할 수 있으며, 도은이나 척약재, 운곡 등이 이룩한 당시풍 만시의 기법을 계승한 것이라 하겠다.

Keun Kwon(Yangchon,1352-1409) is one of representative poets in the latter part of the Goryeo Dynasty. A collection of his works, <Yangchonjib> includes 40 poems under 36 titles of requiems(輓詩). Keun Kwon is a important poet as a bridge between the latter part of the Goryeo Dynasty and the former part of the Chosun Dynasty. He succeeded Mokeun, the greatest poet of the Goryeo Dynasty and wrote so many requiems. Furthermore, the creation of his requiems passed down to the poets of the literary world of the former part of the Chosun Dynasty such as Keojung Soe. That’s why he is called the most important poet to write requiem in the closing years of the 14C and the opening of the 15C. Depending on format, Yangchon’s requiems are divided into several parts - Chileonyulsi (21poems under 20 titles), Oeonyulsi (11poems under 10 titles), Chileogeolgu (7poems under 5titles), Oeongeolgu(1poems under 1 titles). They mostly follow a particular format - Chileonyulsi and Oeonyulsi., which is the trend of the creation of requiems in the latter part of the Goryeo Dynasty. The main characteristic of his requiems is sensory details arising from their signature lyricism. They have a very visible presence of onomatopoeia and mimetic word. That kind of versification relates to Tang’s poetical style, which was selected by Doeun, Chukyakjae, Ungok. Keun Kwon succeeded them.
