예비유아교사의 인성과 교직선택동기가 교사효능감에 미치는 영향

The effects of personality and motivation for choosing teaching profession on teacher efficacy of pre-service teachers

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 인성과 교직선택동기가 교사효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구문제는 첫째, 예비유아교사의 인성과 교사효능감의 관계 및 영향력을 알아보고 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기와 교사효능감의 관계 및 영 향력에 대해 알아보았다. 연구대상은 G시에 위치한 대학에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 1,2,3,4학년을 선정하였으며 2019년 3월 12일부터 3월 15일까지 총 225명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 Pearson의 상관계수와 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 인성과 교사효능감은 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 인성은 교사효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직선택동기와 교사효능감은 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 교직선택동기는 교사효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 예비유아교사의 인성을 증진시켜주고 능동적인 동기를 부여해주면 교사효능감을 높일 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this research is to investigate how prospective pre-service teachers’ personality and motivation for teaching influence their teacher efficacy. The research questions are as follows: What is the relationship and influence of the pre-service teacher s personality and teacher efficacy? second, What is the relationship and influence of the pre-service teacher s motivation and teacher efficacy? A total of 225 pre-service teachers enrolled in early childhood education in 3, 4-year colleges in Korea participated in this study. The results of the analysis suggest the following: First, the personality and the teacher efficacy of pre-service teachers a statistically significant positive correlation. regression analysis showed that personality was a significant predictor of teacher efficacy. Second, the motivation and the teacher efficacy of pre-service teachers a statistically significant positive correlation. regression analysis showed that motivation was a significant predictor of teacher efficacy.
