Homiletics and Preaching of the Psalm

신학을 전공하고 복음을 위해 하나님의 부르심을 받은 사람에게 하나님의 말씀을 선포하는 설교는 피할 수 없는 의무이다. 하지만 모든 설교는 다르다. 특히 전공이 다른 경우 설교는 달라질 수밖에 없다. 설교학자가 시편을 설교한다면 전공 영역의 다름 때문에 구약학 전공자가 동일한 시편을 설교하는 것과 다르다. 성경을 살아있는 하나님의 말씀으로 인정함에서 시작하는 설교학은 성경과 회중을 연구 대상으로 갖는다. 동시에 말씀의 봉사자로 부름 받은 설교자의 소명의식을 중요한 설교의 전제 요소로 간주한다. 이런 독특성 위에서 설교학에서는 시편을 하나님의 말씀으로 그리고 문학적으로는 히브리 시로 이해한다. 특히 후자는 설교자에게 히브리 시의 문학 이해라는 과제를 안겨준다는 점에서 다른 성경보다 더 설교하기가 어렵다. 설교학자로서 시편을 설교하는 것이 다른 전공과 다르다는 것은 고정된 문학이라기보다 오늘 우리에게 주시는 하나님의 살아있는 말씀이라는 이해 때문이다. 따라서 설교학은 한 본문 안에 다양한 의미 추출이 가능하다는 입장이다. 이런 맥락에서 설교학에서는 오늘의 회중이 어떤 면에서 성경 본문을 나를 향한 말씀으로 받아들이는가에 관심을 갖는다. 또한 설교학은 설교의 효과적인 전달에 관심을 갖는다. 이를 위해 각각의 시편이 가진 문학적 특징에 맞는 다양한 설교 형태에 관심을 갖는다. 하지만 전공이 다르기에 설교가 달라질 수 있다는 말이 하나님의 말씀을 변개시킨다는 의미는 결코 아니다. 하나님의 뜻은 설교자의 전공에 따라 달라질 수 없다. 전공이 설교의 흐름과 구성 그리고 강조점에 영향을 줄 수 있지만 설교자는 공히 하나님의 온전하신 말씀을 ‘듣고’ 그대로 전해야 한다는 점에서 동일해야 한다.

In particular, the latter is more difficult to preach than other Bibles in that it gives the preacher the task of understanding Hebrew poetry. The preaching of the Psalms as a preacher is different from the other major because of the understanding that it is the living Word of God that gives us today rather than fixed literature. Therefore, preaching is the position that various meanings can be extracted in one text. In this context, preaching is concerned with how the congregation of today accepts the Bible text as a word for me. In addition, the homiletics is concerned with the effective transmission of sermons. To this end, it is interested in various forms of preaching that fit the literary characteristics of each psalm. However, the fact that the sermon can be changed because of different majors is never meant to change the word of God. God’s will can not depend on the preacher’s major. Although the major may influence the flow, composition, and emphasis of the sermon, the preacher must be the same in that he must “hear” the whole word of God.
