개신교 신학자가 본 김수환 추기경의 에큐메니칼 신학

Cardinal Kim’s ecumenical Theology in terms of protestant perspecktive

본 논문은 김수환 추기경의 전집 18권에 나타난 그의 신학사상 및 교회관을 삼위일체적 신관의 틀에서 조명한 것이다. 물론 이 과정에서 개신교 신학자의 시각이 반영되어 있을 터, 가톨릭과 개신교 신학 간의 대화가 수면 하에서 진행되었다. 본 논문은 김수환 추기경의 신학적 관점이 2차 바티칸 정신에 근거해 있음을 밝히고 기독론의 관점에서는 청빈과 양심을, 성령론적 관점에서는 일치와 공동선 개념을 그리고 신론의 시각에서 그의 선교관과 토착화론을 살폈다. 이 모든 것이 서품시 그가 간직했던 추기경의 말‘너희와 모두를 위하여’라는 말로 요약될 수 있었다. 추기경의 신학은 현실적 개신교회가 감히 추종하지 못할 만한 급진성을 띠고 있으나 이 모든 것이 하느님과 교회 사랑으로부터 비롯한 것임을 부정할 수 없을 것이다. 개신교 신학자가 가톨릭의 수장이었던 김수환 추기경의 삶과 사상을 최초의 논문 형태로 연구한 것에 본 논문의 가치가 있을 것이다.

This Study is a work on the Cardinal Kim Su-whan’s theology and ecclesiology from a trinitarian ides of God. Although this study is done by a protestant theologian, it is rather a dialogue between protestant and catholic theology. Cardinal’s theology is deeply rooted in the second Vatican council's sprit. His Christology is centered on the spirit of poverty and conscience, and pneumatologically, his emphasis lies in the mind of communion and common good. Lastly his missiology also focussed on the theory of God. All this idea can be summerized in the word “for You and all”, which he has confirmed since his ordination. In spite of the radicality of his theology, it is well understandable that it comes from his love of God and Church. This Study has a meaning that has been done for the first time by a protestant theologian.
