The clergy sexual misconducts became an undeniable reality in the Korean churches today. This study aims to investigate the realities of the sexual misconducts by the ministers. its background. and the ethical tasks to prevent this destructive behavior from the perspective of ministerial ethics. Are there preventative measures that can help ministers to prevent their destructive behavior? In the first place, every minister should affirm his identity and self-understanding as a caning rather than a career. The highest spiritual maturity and moral integrity are required to the called. Secondly. every minister should have a sound Christian sexual ethics. Human sexuality is fundamentally good, but it can lead to abuse. Consequently, decisions in the realm of sexuality carry moral weight and bear religious significance. The Scripture bears witness to God's will regarding human sexuality, which is to be expressed only within the lifelong union of a man and a woman in holy marriage. Thirdly. every minister must be aware of personal susceptibilities that make him more prone toward sexual abuse. If a minister inclined to abuse or addict. he should not hesitate to seek personal counseling from a qualified therapist. Fourthly, every minister needs to realize that he is not exempt from sexual attraction to congregants. He must be aware of his feelings and of his vulnerability to sexual sin. Fifthly, the good and intimate relationship with his wife can be the most strongest prevention against the sexual temptation. Every minister should endeavor to give his family the time and consideration to which they arc entitled. Sixthly, every minister need to have a support group who meet regularly to develop trust. offer encouragement, and hold one another morally accountable. Models and mentors can make an important supportive contribution.
