현대 한국 사회에서 가족 변화에 대한 기독교 근본주의의 대응에 관한 성 인지적 연구

A gender-sensitive Study on Responses of the Christian Fundamentalism to the Family Change in Modern Societies-Centered on the Cases in Korea

  한국에서 기독교 근본주의는 매우 강력한 종교 현상이다. 오늘의 한국 사회에서 기독교 근본주의는 급격한 가족 변화에 대응하여 근본주의적 가족관을 중심으로 사회문화적 에토스를 새롭게 형성하려는 활발한 움직임을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 가족 변화에 대응하는 한국 기독교 근본주의의 신학적 담론을 성 인지적 관점에서 분석하였다. 그 결과 기독교 근본주의가 가부장제의 급진적 활성화를 통해 사회문화적 변동에 저항하고, 탈권위주의와 양성평등을 지향하는 시대의 흐름에 역행하는 급진적 전통주의임을 규명하였다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;In Korea the Christian fundamentalism is a very strong religious phenomenon. In order to respond to the radical family change in the Korean society nowadays it efforts to shape a socio-cultural ethos by articulating and reformulating the fundamentalistic concept of family.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In this research I have analyzed from a gender-sensitive perspective the theological discourses of the Korean fundamentalists as reaction to such a family change. I have pointed out that the fundamentalists would resist to the social and cultural changes by revitalizing the patriarchal familism and so present itself as a radical traditionalism, which would stand against the anti-authoritarianism and a gender equality.
