[연구논문] 영성학의 흐름과 교수법에 관한 연구: 기독교교육 관점에서

Christian spirituality refers to both a lived experience and to a rigorous study of this subject. The purpose of this paper is to describe various methods in studying Christian Spirituality, different approaches to understanding Christian experience as such. The principal concern of the theological method is with the practice .of the Christian faith, implementing in the practicaL order that which has been revealed in Christ. Here the spiritual life is viewed in terms of the gradual formation of the human person by grace and Spirit. The historical Method underpin the great studies of the history of Christian spirituality which began to appear in the first half of this century. Contemporary historical approaches tend to avoid sweeping surveys. and the focus rather on individuals. particular movements, specific topics and issues. The anthropogical method is to attend to human experience precisely as spiritual expeience. Human experience as spiritual experience is the very stuff of the study of spirituality. Human experience in and of itself is transcendentally directed. The appropriative method is understanding occurs through interpretation and application. The purpose of interpretation and application is appropriation, i.e.. real understanding that is transformational. The emergence of five methodology require new methods of description, analysis, and interpretation. Feminism is a critical world view which emergies from the experience of being oppressed because one is a woman. Spirituality of liberation is to attend to the human struggle for freedom and liberation from all that blocks the fullness of human flousishing as the very work of the Holy Spirit who empowers believers to live and do the truth in love freely. The ecological consciousness is to attend the network of relations between human and nonhuman life, recognizing that the Spirit of God is bringing about the salvation of the whole world, not just of human beings.
