[연구논문] 한국교회의 노인 교육목회에 관한 연구

It is not an overstatement to say that older adults group is in a state of crisis in the modem society. It is also needed for Korean church to build an alternative project the educational ministry. First, Korean church should provide the proper understanding of older adults which can be the base for the educational ministry for them. The purpose of educational ministry for the older adults is the growth of faith, the matureness of christian life-style, the solution of the problems. Its contents include the education of faith, the education of self-integration, and the education of social-readjustment. The necessary methods for this purpose are impression method, expression method and participation method. This thesis proposes that educational ministry for the older adults should investigate the thought of older adults, its limitation and the needs of older adults. By doing this, educational ministry for the older adults connects The story of Jesus and The vision of the Kingdom of God to the stories and the visions of the older adults which are based on their individual demand, self-respect, value, belief image, and symbols. Therefore, it requires that Korean church restore the nature of the community of education for the transformation and the growth of life of the older adults. For this, it is needed that the specialization and communalization of the education of older adults as an alternative project.
