Our period is a point of time that passes beyond the division and looks forward to the expectation of reunification. The entire people of our nation were greatly wounded at the time of division of our country, yet there are almost no attempts to heal those wounds. Also, there can be problems when people who looked upon each other as an enemy live together. So, our national task is to discover a way to heal the wounds of the division period and make people, who have been long engaged in very different ways of living, be able to live together harmoniously. In this sense, the task of pastoral conseling can be to find a path towards healing and living together from the christian point of view. There are many ways that we can cure the wounds of the division period. However, this article was focused on the story-telling, mourning, and rituals as ways of healing. Also, there was some discussion of the role of the churches as the place for healing and living together in this article.
