This paper trys to light on the meaning of Dr. Ahn's idea of 'embodiment theology' regarding with his understanding on Incarnation and Pneumatology. The theological concept of the word 'embodiment' in this paper means personification of logos and impersonation of Spirit in Minhung's movement bringing human being to live. In an early Church, there existed two different tendencies of Christological debate community(down-up Christology), and the other is the gnostic-logos Christology in Hellenistic Christian community(up-down Christology). However, Dr. Ahn emphasizes that Incarnation doctrine should be understood as the metaphorical expression for the embodiment of God's Word/Will which is the actual principle of God's self- manifestation. Regrettably Incarnation doctrin has been misunderstood in general as the transmutation of God into human body who walked on the earth in the matrix of classical myth of salvation. Dr. Ahn argues that Incarnation doctrin is nothing but a symbolical expression of God's Immanuel event in creation, especially in human being. In the same context, Dr. Ahn reevaluates the significance of spiritual-eschatological movement in Montanus, Joachim, and Thomas Muncher. Their spiritual movements had been neither degenerated into an other worldly Christian movement nor individual pietistism. They engaged themselves in ecclesia social revolution and total liberation of human being. Dr. Ahn criticizes the traditional orthodoxy doctrin of Trinity in pointing out that Church in the orthodoxy tradition waves in her attityde vacillating between modalistic trinitarianism and trestheistic polytheism because the orthodoxy church misunderstood 'persona' as independent 'individium.' So that Dr. Ahn suggests translating the biblical words 'ruach or nephesh' not into 'spirit' that sounds contrasting to 'matter', but into 'ch'i' of Confucian-Taoistic Culture.
