밀양23호/O. rufipogon 교잡 유래 근동질유전자 계통 이용 QTLs 분석

Mapping of Quantitative Trait Loci using a Near-Isogenic Line from a Cross between Oryza sativa cultivar Milyang 23 and O. rufipogon

A near-isogenic line CR1815, containing three introgressed segments on chromosomes 1, 7 and 9 from O. rufipogon into the Oryza sativa cultivar Milyang23 background was developed based on MAS (marker aided selection) and backcrossing. The introgressed segments affect several traits of agronomic importance including days to heading and yield components. To characterize and fine map the gemes/QTLs, 142 BC₄F₃ lines from CR 1815 were evaluated for 12 traits in two locations. QTL analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between marker genotype and the phenotypes. Twenty significant QTLs were identified for yield and yield components using the single point analysis. Twelve and fourteen QTLs were detected in Daejeon and Suwon, respectively. Six QTLs were detected in common in two locations, and these include two QTLs each for culm length, panicle length and yield per plant. The phenotypic variation explained by each QTL ranged from 4.9 to 35.6%. At four out of the six QTL loci detected in two locations in common, the O. rufipogon alleles were beneficial in the Milyang 23 background. Alleles from the O. rufipogon parent were associated with positive effect on yield at QTL loci yd1 and yd9.
