A new graft cactus Chamaecereus silvestrii cultivar “Doldol” was developed from a cross between C. silvestrii cv. “Bosong” and C. silvestrii breeding line “ICS07” by in vitro grafting and line selection at National Horticultural Research Institute, Rural Development Administration in 1999. The trails for investigation of characteristics were carried out three times from 2001 to 2003. “Doldol” was yellow color with cristate shape. Color was stable. The cultivar was fan shape earlier grafting and roundly rolled later. It was thin at the extent of 12.5 mm and 56.3 mm in height in six months after grafting. Propagated by grafting meristem onto stock cactus. Characteristics of the cultivar could be maintained by vegetative propagation, and growers should pay attention to protection from strong sunlight and virus infection. The cultivar was applied for a variety protection and was released to commercial growers in 2004.
