A new FA interspecific hybrid lily “Goyo” was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI) in 2002. A cross was made between Lilium formolongi “Eunha”, a trumpet shaped and white petaled lily variety, and Lilium Asiatic hybrid “Corina”, a red colored variety. The flower characteristics and performance of “Goyo” were examined from 2000 to 2002. “Goyo” flowers in early June, but can flower year-round by storing the bulb under −1 to −2℃ conditions. It has trumpet shaped flower and light-orange petals with weak fragrance. The width of flower is 8.5 cm. The weight and size of bulb are 57.1 g and 18.6 cm, respectively. For forcing culture, it is necessary to add calcium to the fertilizer or remove side scales to prevent leaf scorch. It is needed to control Botrytis disease in wet season.
