음독 입겿과 한글 입겿의 상관성

He correlations between Eumdok Ipkyeoch and Hangul Ipkyeoch - Focus on 《Neungeom-gyeong》,《Beophwa-gyeong》,《Yukjo-daesa-beopbo-dangyeong》

이 글은 한글 창제 전에 간행된 《능엄경》,《법화경》,《육조대사법보단경》의 음독 입겿과 한글 창제 후에 간행된 《능엄경언해》, 《법화경언해》, 《육조대사법보단경언해》의 한글 입겿을 대상으로 그 상관성을 밝히고자 하였다. 검토 결과 고려시대 간행본에 기업된 음독 입겿들이 한글 창제 이후의 한글 입겿들과 30-40% 정도 일치하는 것에 비해 조선 초기에 간행된 자료들에 기입된 음독 입겿들은 많게는 98%에서부터 적게는 70% 정도가 일치한다는 사실을 밝혔다. 한글 창제 전후기에 간행된 자료들에서 음독 입겿과 한글 입겿의 일치 현상이 이와 같은 까닭은 다음과 같은 이유 때문이라 사료된다. 첫째,《능엄경》이나 《법화경》의 경우는 경전의 분량이 많아 입겿을 기입할 때, 기입자가 두 사람 이상인 경우가 많다. 이 경우 (1) 입겿을 기입하는 기입자의 자형 선택(임의적 선택)에 따라 선택되었을 가능성, (2) 입겿을 기입하는 기입자의 평소 발음 습관과 관련 가능성, (3) 입겿을 기입하는 기입자의 필체의 차이가 있을 것으로 추정된다. 둘째, 조선 초기에 간행된 음독 입겿 자료들은 한글이 창제되는 전후에 음독 입겿이 기입되었을 가능성이 높기 때문에 고려 시대 간행된 음독 입겿 자료들에 비해 한글 입겿과의 일치도가 더 높다. 셋째, 고려 시대 간행된 자료 가운데서 한글 구결과 많은 일치를 보이는 《능엄경》 이본 남권희 (라)본 의 경우는 간행은 고려 시대에 되었더라도 음독 입겿은 조선 초기에 이루어졌을 가능성도 배제할 수 없다. 넷째, 98%이상의 일치를 보인 파전본 은 《능엄경언해》 한글 입겿의 모본(母本)일 가능성이 있다.

This study is to make clear of the correlations between Eumdok Ipkyeoch like 《Neungeom-gyeong》, 《Beophwa-gyeong》, 《Yukjo-daesa-beopbo-dangyeong》which published before inventing Hangul and Hangul Ipkyeoch like 《Neungeom-gyeong Eonhae》 , 《Beophwa-gyeong Eonhae》, 《Yukjodaesa-beopbo-dangyeong Eonhae》published after inventing Hangul. On closer examination, the analysis is found that Eumdok Ipkyeoch from lpkyeoch materials published in Goryeo Dynasty corresponds about 30-40% with Hangul Ipkyeoch after inventing Hangul. In comparison with Eumdok Ipkyeoch from lpkyeoch materials published in Joseon Dynasty, it corresponds from a maximum of 98% to a minimum of 70%. Several reasons for a closer correspondence between Eumdok Ipkyeoch and Hangul Ipkyeoch from publishing materials before and after the invention of Hangul are listed below. First, In the case of 《Neungeom-gyeong》 or 《Beophwa-gyeong》,there were two or more recorders when Ipkyeoch was recorded because of Lots of content of the scripture. In this case, it is assumed (1) having a chance of choosing letter types by recorders(arbitrary choices), (2) having a chance of relating usual habits of pronunciation by recorders who recorded Ipkyeoch, (3)having a difference writing by recorders who recorded lpkyeoch. Second, Eumdok lpkyeoch materials published in the early period of Joseon Dynasty are likely to record Eumdok Ipkyeoch before and after the invention of Hangul. Thus, compared with Eumdok Ipkyeoch materials published in Goryeo Dynasty, Hangul Ipkyeoch corresponds more. Third, Among materials, published in Goryeo Dynasty, in the case of Namkwonhui (ra)bon which is a different version of 《Neungeom-gyeong》 showing the correspondence with Hangul Gugyeol more, even if it was issued in Goryeo Dynasty, Eumdok Ipkyeoch cannot exclude the possibility of being done in the early period of Joseon Dynasty. Fourth, Pajeonbon showing a more 98% correspondence is likely co an imitation of 《Neungeom-gyeong Eonhae》 which is Hangul Ipkyeoch.
