근대일본의 조직ㆍ사회윤리의 형성과 정착과정

The Process of Formation and Settlement of Organization and Social Ethics in Modern Japan

이 글은 일본 사회의 독특한 조직적 특성과 사회질서에 관심을 가지고 시작되었다. 윤리란 사회 내의 인간관계를 규제하는 내면화된 규칙이라 간주하고, 이 윤리관이 일본문화와 어떤 연관이 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 일본사회에서 가장 기본적인 조직인 ‘이에’에서 시작된 ‘효’의 성격과 그것보다 ‘충’을 중시하게 되는 과정을 분석하였다. 그리고 서양이나 중국과는 다른 ‘공’과 ‘사’의 개념을 분석하여 공과 사의 위계적 관계와 양립에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리하여 이 ‘충효’와 ‘공사’ 의 윤리는 서로 합치되어 일본사회에서 조직윤리의 근간을 이루고 있다는 것을 알게 되었다. 한편, 사회를 유지해 온 윤리규범으로 문무의 이원성과 일본인의 이미지로 이야기되는 ‘근면정신’에 대해 살펴보았다. 과거 제도를 실시하지 않았던 일본사회에서 문무는 동일한 지위를 획득하고 있었고, 그것은 하나로 간주되었다. 그리고 불교적인 윤리에서 출발한 근면정신은 무가사회에서도 중요한 지침이 되었고, 근대에 이르러서는 국민생활의 기본 요소로 강조되었다. 이러한 윤리의 분석을 단순하게 그 내용만을 분석하는 데 그치지 않고, 그 윤리가 정착되어, 사회전반으로 확산되어 가는 과정을 살펴보기 위해 ‘국민교육’이라는 개념을 채택하여, 그 과정과 내용들을 살펴보았다. 그리고 결론으로 현재의 일본사회에서는 이러한 윤리규범들이 기업을 대상으로 실천되고 있다는 사실을 명기하였다

This article began with an interest in the unique organizational characteristics and social order of Japanese society. We regard ethics as an internalized rule that regulates human relations in society and try to see how this ethics is related to Japanese culture. We analyze the character of Hyo which started from Ie which is the most basic organization in Japanese society and the process of emphasizing Chung more than that. And we analyzed the concepts of public and private which are different from Western or Chinese, and examined the hierarchical relationship and compatibility between them. Thus, it became clear that these Chung-Hyo and Ouyake-Watakishi ethics were in harmony with each other and form the basis of organizational ethics in Japanese society. On the other hand, I examined the dualistic character between the bureau and the military affairs and the industrious spirit that is expressed in the image of Japanese as an ethical norm that has maintained society. In the Japanese society, which did not implement the past system, Both of them was acquiring the same status, which was regarded as one. And the industrious spirit that started from the Buddhist ethics became an important guideline in the samurai society, and it was emphasized as a basic element of the people s life in the modern times. In order to examine the process of analyzing the ethics and not only the content of the ethics but also the ethics and the spreading to the society as a whole, the concept of national education was adopted and the process and contents were examined. In conclusion, the present Japanese society has stated that these codes are being applied to companies.
