역사문화도시의 조성 방안에 관한 一考 : 고도 경주를 중심으로

A Study on Creative Ways for Gyeongju Historical and Cultural City

경주는 한국의 다양한 문화적 층위를 반영한 수많은 문화유산을 간직하고 있다. 이러한 경주를 세계적인 역사문화도시로 가꾸기 위한 그간의 노력은 고대 문화유산의 발굴과 복원, 정비를 통한 ‘인프라’ 구축에 관한 것이 대부분이었다. 따라서 기존의 계획에 대한 면밀한 검토를 바탕으로 문화유산을 통한 소통과 공존의 장소를 제공할 수 있는 적절한 방향의 모색이 필요하다. 이를 위해 법과 제도적인 측면에서의 지원과 경주의 문화적 콘텐츠의 다양성을 드러내 보이는 문화적 다성성(多聲性)의 문제 그리고 지역민들과 이용자들의 참여와 소통의 문제를 고려해야 한다 이를 통해 천년 고도 경주가 지니는 역사문화적 가치의 공유를 위한 지속적인 실천을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

There are a number of cultural heritages reflecting various cultural layers in Gyeonju city. The established ways for creating Gyeongju city as a worldwide historical and cultural city mainly confined to construction the infrastructure in terms of excavation, restoration and maintenance of cultural heritages. Therefore, after scrutinizing the established ways we should seek the appropriate ways to provide the place of communication and coexistence by means of cultural heritages. For this purpose, we had better to take into account legislative and institutional supports, the concept of cultural polyphony, and participation and communication between hosts and guests.
