성인애착과 정서표현억제와의 관계에서 자기개념 명확성과 완벽주의적 자기제시의 매개효과

The Mediating Effects of SelfConcept Clarity and the Perfectionistic Selfpresentation on the Relationship between Adult Attachment and Inhibition of Emotional Expression

본 연구는 성인애착 특성이 정서표현억제에 미치는 과정에서 자기개념 명확성과 완벽주의적 자기제시의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수도권에 거주하고 있는 350명의 성인 남녀를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 성인애착 특성을 측정하기 위해 사용한 성인 애착 척도(ECRS)는 애착불안과 애착회피의 두 가지 차원으로 나누어져 있는데, 본 연구는 그 두 차원을 각 변인으로 설정하여 분석하였다. 성인애착(애착불안/애착회피), 자기개념 명확성, 완벽주 의적 자기제시, 정서표현억제 간 구조방정식 모형을 설정하여 분석한 결과, 각 변인들은 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 애착불안은 자기개념 명확성과 완벽주의적 자기제시를 완전 매개로 하여 정서표현억제에 영향을 미쳤다. 성인 애착회피의 경우, 애착회피와 정서표현억제, 완벽주의적 자기제시 사이에는 유의미한 상관이 나타났으나, 예상과 달리 성인 애착회피가 자기개념 명확성을 매개로 하여 정서표현억제에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 위의 결과를 중심으로 본 연구의 함의와 한계점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of self  concept clarity and perfectionist self  presentation in the process of adult attachment characteristics inhibition of emotional expression. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 350 adult men and women residing in the metropolitan area. The Adult Attachment Scale (ECRS) used to measure adult attachment characteristics was divided into two dimensions, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance. As a result of constructing and analyzing the structural equation model between adult attachment (attachment anxiety / attachment avoidance), self  concept clarity, perfectionist self presentation, and emotional expression suppression, each variable showed a significant correlation, and attachment anxiety showed self concept clarity Perfectionist self  presentation was the mediator, which affected the suppression of emotional expression .In the case of adult attachment avoidance, there was a significant correlation between attachment avoidance, suppression of emotional expression, and perfectionism self  presentation. However, unlike the expectation, adult attachment avoidance did not affect emotional expression suppression through self  concept clarity. Based on the above results, implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for subsequent research were discussed.
