‘치매돌봄가족’의 운동프로그램 참여 사례연구

A Case Study on the Participation Exercise Program of Dementia Care Family - Focused on Spouses who Use Dementia Center -

본 연구의 목적은 치매안심센터를 이용하는 치매가족들의 운동참여 사례를 통해, 현장의 이야기를 공론화시켜 치매돌봄가족을 위한 보다 실질적인 운동프로그램의 운영을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것에 있다. 이에 2017년부터 2018년 동안 총 4session기 운동을 적용하고 2session에 연속 참여한 3명의 치매돌봄가족(배우자)의 신체평가와 3session에 참여한 5명을 심층면담하여 자료를 수집하였다, 또한 치매돌봄가족에게 운동을 지도한 경험이 있는 운동치료사 5명과의 면담결과와 참여관찰 및 현장일지를 연구자료로 수집하였다. 3명의 참여자는 운동참여 후 신체기능은 향상되었고 중단기간 저하되었으며 재참여 후 다시 향상된 결과를 보였다. 심층면담 결과 첫째, ‘현장의 실제’는 치매안심센터의 운동교실은 그들에게 유일한 운동기회이자 서로의 고충을 나누는 사랑방 역할을 하고 있지만, 충분하게 지속적으로 제공되지 않고 있었다. 둘째, ‘현장의 소리’로 운동 참여는 치매배우자와의 분리를 통해 운동에 집중하는 것이 바람직하며, 치매돌봄가족들은 구조적 · 환경적 요소로 인해 운동참여에 제약을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 운동에 지속적으로 참여할 수 있는 열린 서비스 · 다가가는 서비스 등 확대된 서비스 제공의 필요성이 대두되어 이를 위한 현실적인 해결책과 개선방안이 요구된다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the operation of a more practical exercise program for dementia care families by publicizing the site story through exercise participation cases of dementia families using the dementia center. From 2017 to 2018, we applied a total of 4 sessions and collected data in-depth consultation between the three dementia care families (spouses) who participated in 2 sessions in succession and 5 participants in 3 sessions. This study applied total 4 sessions of Exercise from 2017 to 2018 and performed the interview and physical evaluation for 3 Care-giving Family of Dementia patient(Spouse) who continuously participated 2 sessions. Moreover, interviewed result, participated observation and filed notes for 5 sports therapists who has experience of teaching exercise to care-giving family for dementia patient were collected as study data. As a result of experimental study, their body function is increased after participated exercise and decreased during ceased period and improved again after re-participation. At first, exercise class of dementia care center as ‘reality of field’ is only opportunity for exercise for them but it wasn’t provided enough and continuously from the result of qualitative study. At second, exercise participation as ‘sound of field’ is advised to concentrate on exercise through separation from demented spouse and it is appeared that care-giving family for dementia patient has restriction for participating exercise due to structural and environmental factors. Conclusion, expanded services such as opened service and approaching service for continuous participation for exercise should be provided and required realistic solution and improvement plan.
