The Effects of Smoking Compnents on Rat Survival

This study was designed the analyze on the danger of smoking through the animal experiment in order to valuable school life and health promotion to the adolescence. Obtained results were as follows: First, in 4 weeks of male rats, the average time of survival about smoke of one cigarette was 6.1 minutes. In the 8 weeks of male rats, the average time of survival was 7.2 minutes. There was no significant difference of between the 4 weeks of male rats and 8 weeks of male rats. Second, in 4 weeks of female rats, the average time of survival about smoke of on cigarette was 6.4 minutes. In the 8 weeks of female rats the average time of survivals was 7.1 minutes. There was also no significant difference of between the 4 weeks of female rats and 8 weeks of female rats.
