This study attempted to examine how to have healthy, beautiful feet from an esthetic perspective. For this, a lower body meridian massage was given to those with tinea toes to determine how effective it is on this fungal infection, compared to the calf massage of the previous study. For research subjects, a total of 12 adult women in their 30-50s having tinea toes fungi according to a KOH smear test were chosen. They were divided into two groups: a control group (Group C) and a lower body meridian massage group(Group M). The experiment lasted for 8 weeks, and changes in significance of Trichophyton rubrum were analyzed. The results found the following: According to the KOH smear test, Trichophyton rubrum was found in all 12 testees. In a culture test, highly infectious Trichophyton rubrum was observed. Therefore, it appears that strict hygiene management is required in aesthetic salons. When tinea toes was observed for 8 weeks, it increased by 22.61% in Group C while a significant decrease (by 83.93%) was found in Group M (p<.001). In terms of the area of tinea toes, it increased by 21.05% in Group C while it significantly decreased (by 81.11%) in Group M (p<.05). The above results show that a lower body meridian massage(decrease by 83.93%) is more effective than the calf massage (decrease by 62.07%) in reducing tinea toes. It seems that after the former massage, blood circulation became more active, having a greater effect on maintaining a constant body temperature. It is expected that the study results would be available as basic data for esthetic salons to keep their customers’ feet healthy and beautiful by understanding and preventing Trichophyton rubrum infection.
