노인요양시설 종사자 및 이용자의 소방인식 및 만족도에 관한 연구

Study on the Perception and Satisfaction of Workers and Users Concerning Firefighting in Elderly Care Facilities

본 연구는 노인요양시설 종사자 및 이용자를 대상으로 소방시설의 입소 영향, 소방시설에 대한 인식, 소방환경계획 만족도, 소방설비만족도에 대한 설문을 실시하여 개선방안을 제시하였다. 여성 및 40대 이상의 종사자가 많아 이용자를 대피시키기 어려우므로 거동이 불편한 이용자가 입소한 층에 제연설비를 설치하고 수평피난을 의무화 하여야 한다. 이용자는 소방에 대한 인식이 낮으므로 입소시 소방시설에 대한 안내를 실시하고 소방교육 및 훈련시 참여를 의무화하여야 한다. 소방환경계획 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수는 ‘안전구획’ 소방설비 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수는 종사자는 ‘소화기’, 이용자는 ‘유도등’으로 나타나 안전구획을 의무화하고 소화기 및 유도등의 관리를 강화하여야 한다. 종사자에 비해 이용자의 만족도가 낮게 나타나 이용자의 만족도를 개선할 필요가 있다.

In this study, a survey was conducted to estimate the impact of firefighting equipment on admission, awareness of firefighting equipment, and satisfaction of elderly care facility workers and users with firefighting equipment. Based on this, a plan for improvement of firefighting equipment satisfaction and awareness was presented. There are several women and workers in their 40s or older residing in the facilities, which renders evacuation difficult for them. Therefore, smoke prevention facilities should be installed on the floor having users experiencing difficulty when moving, and additionally, horizontal escape must be mandatory. Users were found to have lower awareness regarding firefighting compared to workers. Therefore, guidelines concerning firefighting equipment use should be provided at the entrance of these facilities. In addition, participation in firefighting education or training should be made mandatory. The most significant factor affecting the satisfaction of the firefighting plan was found to be the ‘safety compartment’, and the variables most significantly affecting the satisfaction of firefighting equipment were found to be ‘fire extinguishers’ in case of workers, and ‘evacuation lights’ in the case of users. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to employ the safety compartment and strengthen the management of fire extinguishers and evacuation lights. The satisfaction level of the users was also found to be lower than that of the workers, indicating a need to improve the former s satisfaction.
