사회적기업가정신이 사회적･경제적 성과에 미치는 영향: 지역자산활용도 매개효과를 중심으로

A Study on the Effects of Social Entrepreneurship on Social and Economic Performance: Focusing on the Intermediation Effect of Regional Asset Utilization

본 연구는 사회적기업가정신이 지역자산 활용을 매개로 하여 경제적․사회적 성과에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지에 대하여 실증적으로 분석을 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그리고 이러한 논의를 종합하여 앞으로 지역활성화를 위한 정책적 함의를 모색하고자 한다. 사회적기업가정신, 지역자산 활용, 성과(사회적, 경제적)의 관계를 6개의 151개 사회적경제조직을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사를 통해 얻은 자료를 활용하여 기술분석, 상관관계, 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 실증분석하였다. 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적기업가정신이 지역자산활용, 사회적성과, 경제적 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지역자산 활용의 경우는 사회적 성과에는 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 경제적 성과에는 유의미한 영향을 확인하지 못했다. 셋째, 사회적기업가정신이 지역자산 활용을 매개로 해서 성과에 영향을 미치는 지를 분석한 결과, 사회적 성과의 경우는 사회적기업가정신이 지역자산 활용을 매개로 해서 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 경제적 성과에는 유의미한 결과를 보여주지 못했다. 넷째, 사회적기업가정신의 하위변수 중에서도 사회적목적 변수가 혁신이나 실행 변수보다 성과에 중요하였으며, 지역자산활용의 경우 사회적 성과는 지역기관 활용이, 경제적 성과는 지역시설 활용이 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그밖에 설립시기나 사회적기업 인증여부는 큰 영향을 보이지 못하는 것으로 나타났으나 사회적기업 인증이 사회적 성과에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to make an empirical analysis of how social entrepreneurship affect economic and social performance by means of the utilization of regional assets. And we will seek policy implications for regional revitalization in the future. The relationship between social entrepreneurship, utilization of regional assets, and performance(social and economic) was analyzed through analysis of basic statistics, correlations, and structured models, using those obtained from surveys of 151 social economic organizations in six regions. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, it was shown that social entrepreneurship have a positive impact on regional asset utilization, social performance and economic performance. Second, the use of regional assets has been shown to have a positive impact on social performance, but no significant impact has been identified on economic performance. Third, the analysis of whether social entrepreneurship affects performance by means of the utilization of regional assets shows that social entrepreneurship has a positive effect by mediating the utilization of regional assets, but it has not shown significant results in economic performance. Fourth, among specific variables of social entrepreneurship, social purpose variables were more important to performance than innovation or implementation variables, and in specific variables of the utilization of regional assets, social performance was found to have a greater impact on the utilization of regional institutions and the economic performance of regional facilities. In addition, it was found that social enterprise certification of the government did not have much effect on social performance.
