대학 운동선수들이 지각한 진로장벽과 진로발달의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과

The Mediation Effect of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy in the Relationship between Career Barriers and Career Development of College Athletes

본 연구는 대학 운동선수들이 지각한 진로장벽과 진로발달 속에서 진로결정 자기 효능감의 매개효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기 지역에 위치한 4년제 대학교 운동선수들 중 대한체육회 산하 각 소속 종목의 협회에 선수로 등록되어 있으며 대학교 운동선수로 활동 중인 재학생 500명을 대상으로 2017년 9월 5일부터 12월 31일까지 설문을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 이 중 469명의 자료가 상관 관계분석과 변인 간 인과관계를 검증하기 위한 구조방정식모형으로 최종 분석되었 다. 연구결과, 대학 운동선수들의 진로장벽이 진로발달에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로장벽이 진로결정 자기효능감에 통계적으로 유의한 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로결정 자기 효능감이 진로발달에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 진로장벽과 진로발달의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과는 통계적 유의성이 검정되었다. 이러한 결과들은 대학교 운동선수들의 진로상담과 교육 시 스스로 진로 문제를 해결할 수 있다는 진로결정 자기효능감을 향상시킬 수 있도록 도와주는 프로그램 개발 및 지원의 필요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to verity the effect of college athletes’s career decision-making self-efficacy mediates the process in which their career barriers affects their career development. Participants of this study were 469 college athletes who experiences of participating in sport for more than 3 years. The confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structure equation modelling were used to address the key questions of this study. The level of career barriers negatively influences the level of career development. Also the level of career barriers negatively influences career decision-making self-efficacy. And the level of career decision-making self-efficacy positively effects career development. Moreover, the level of career decision-making self-efficacy has mediation effect relationship between the level of career barriers and the level of career development.
