김해지역 차 산업 발전을 위한 現代的視角

Modern perspective for tea industry development in Gimhae province

한국 고대사의 변방에 있었던 가야에 대한 재조명이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 500년 가까이 이어진 역사가 결코 짧은 시간이 아님에도 불구하고 그동안 미진했던 가야사에 대한 연구가 오늘날 불교학자나 사학자, 고고학자, 차학자들에 의해 다양한 형태의 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그 중에서 특히 김해지역을 중심으로 김수로왕과 허왕후에 관한 연구가 사실로 표명되어진다면 우리 차 문화에 있어서도 새로운 역사가 세워질 것이다. 『삼국유사』에서는 인도와 한국을 육상 실크로드가 아닌 해상 실크로드로 연결하고 있으며 허황옥의 이야기는 불교와 차문화의 확산을 보여주고 있다. 그러나 김수로왕과 허왕후의 결혼을 다룬 1세기의 내용으로 그것이 역사적 사실인지 신화인지에 대해서는 아직 명확한 증거가 없어 안타까움과 함께 보다 심도 있는 연구를 요한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 가야의 혼이 서린 김해지역 차산업 현황과 문제점을 살펴보았고, 발전 대응책으로 가야시대 사료들의 원형 발굴을 통한 산업화, 콘텐츠화 전략을 현대적 시각으로 제언하였다. 이를 참고로 현재 처한 어려움을 적절히 대처해 나간다면 국내 차산업은 물론 한국과 인도의 국가 간 관계형성에도 매우 중요한 역할을 할 것이라고 생각한다. 최근, 인도는 전 세계 주요국 중에서 가장 높은 경제성장률을 기록하고 있다. 미래를 향한 동반자 관계를 내실화하고 허왕후로 인해 관계강화를 더욱 돈독하게 할 필요가 있다. 그리고 우리나라 전체 차 산업이 발전하기 위해서는 지역적인 경계를 떠나 왕의 차, 왕비의 차등과 같이 스토리를 녹인 대한민국 왕실차로 위상을 높였으면 하는 바람이다. 차가 생산되는 중국의 성 하나에도 못 미치는 좁은 나라에서 지역간 서로 견제하는 것은 세계화에 이르지 못하고 발전적이지 못하다는 생각이 든다. 각 지역기관과 산업체, 학계가 하나로 뭉쳐 서로 소통하고 차계의 고민을 풀어나가는 옴니(omni)공동체를 만드는 것이 앞으로 우리의 과제일 것이다.

Reillumination on Gaya which has not been the main stream in Korean ancient history is actively on the move. 500 years of history is long enough but research on Gaya history was never on the mainstream. But today, Buddhism scholars, historians, archaeologists and tea scholars are doing their own research in various types. Especially, if research on King Kim Suro and Queen Heo focusing on Gimhae province turns out to be true, a new history is about to be written in our tea history. In 『samkukyusa』, it says that India and Korea was connected not through inland Silk Road but through the marine Silk Road and the story of Queen Heo proves the spread of Buddhism and teach culture. No matter the story about marriage of King Suro and Queen Heo in the 1st Century is a historical fact or a myth, more complex studies should be done on this subject. Based on historical records, if Gimhae excavates the originals and act properly after analyzing the difficulties they re facing through making contents from various perspectives, it will not only play an important role in domestic but also in Korean-Indian international relationship. Recently, India has been recording the highest economic growth rate among the main countries of the world. We must assure the companionship for the future and reinforce the relationship with India through Queen Heo. It would be our assignment to make a omni community to make a room for communication among regional governments, tea industries representatives and scholars and to solve the problems we re facing.
