재가요양보호사의 사회적 지지가 심리적복지감에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Social Support on the psychological Well-being of In-Home Care Workers : With a focus on the mediating effects of job satisfaction

본 연구는 재가요양보호사의 사회적 지지가 심리적복지감에 미치는 영향에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 측정하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 전라남도에 소재한 재가노인복지시설에 현재 근무하고 있는 재가요양보호사 200명을 대상으로 2018년 11월 19일부터 12월 13일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며 총 165부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 사회적 지지가 높아질수록 심리적복지감이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지가 증가할수록 직무만족이 증가하며, 직무만족이 증가할수록 심리적복지감도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지와 심리적복지감 사이에서 직무만족은 부분매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 측정되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 재가요양보호사의 심리적복지감을 높이기 위해 사회적 지지와 직무만족도를 증가시킬 수 있는 실천적, 정책적 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to measure the mediating effects of job satisfaction on the influence of social support on psychological well-being among home care workers. For this purpose, the investigator conducted a survey with 200 home care workers currently working at home welfare facilities for the elderly in Jeollanam Province on November 19∼December 13, 2018 and used total 165 questionnaires in final analysis. The findings were as follows: first, the higher social support was, the higher psychological wellbeing came; second, higher social support led to higher job satisfaction, which resulted in greater psychological wellbeing; and finally, job satisfaction had partial mediating effects between social support and psychological well-being. Based on these findings, the study proposed practical and policy plans to increase social support and job satisfaction and thus enhance the psychological wellbeing of home care workers.
