Polypropylene(PP) resin was compounded with various minerals to improve physical and thermal properties. It was shown that addition of proper quantity of minerals improve polypropylene’s rigidity and heat resistance. Especially talc showed good and balanced improvmentsts. By compounding 10 to 50 percents talc into polypropylene resin, mechanical and thermal properties were improved but processabiliy decreased with increasing talc contents.
