An Experimental Study on the Characteristics of the Steam Jetting Vacuum Refrigerator

A number of researches in various fields are being carried out in each country worldwide for efficient energy production and consumption. Especially, trigeneration that produces heat, electricity and cooling simultaneously are highly attracting the attention recently. The coolant that is used in the production process of various industries such as chemical industry or pharmaceutical industry is required. Steam jetting vacuum refrigerator used in this experiment enabled to produce the coolant continuously. As result of this study, the cooling power of device increased as the flow rate of circulation cold water and the exit temperature of coolant were increased. Also, the cooling power of device remarkably increased as the inhalation flow rate was increased.
