Solid Wire와 Flux Cored Wire의 용접에 따른 탄소강(SS400)의 기계적 특성

This study analyzed the mechanical properties by tensile test after CO2 gas welding with solid wire and flux cored wire on the general structural rolled steel(SS400) were obtained as follows. The solid wire indicated more excellent result then the flux cored wire in the elongation distance and the sensitivity shows a similar result. As seen from the average value of the elastic limit, the solid wire shows a slightly better result and the yield point represents a similar result. Solid wire indicates a good value than the flux cored wire but shows a slight variation. Seen in this, it cannot protect the welding zone because solid wire welding does not produce slag after welding, on the other hand, it is considered to represent a reliable result because the slag after welding with flux cored wire can protect the welding zone.
