In this paper, I design and implement the shopping system that can be used in the offline stores. This system works as follows. First, you run the android shopping app. Next, you shoot the barcode of the goods using your smart phone s camera. It is sent to the server s PHP page by WiFi. The server searches the detailed informations of goods from its database based on the primary key that matches the barcode. They are returned to your app. Next, if you wish to buy it, you can add it in the buying list. The informations of the buying list are sent to the server s PHP page when you click the Buy button. Finally, you finish the app. In this system, you can find the information of goods and can know the total amount of goods in the cart without a seller s assist. Because the salespeople can be see the your buying list through the server, they do not check again the prices of things at the counter. So you can pay the money quickly. Because this system consists of one PC and one IP router, its cost is very cheap. In addition to, you do not have to pay the cost for Internet because this system uses the internal network. This system can be used in the offline stores that have no salespeople.
