Solospun is the innovative worsted yarn weavable as single yarn. The Solospun roller is attached on the front bottom roller of ring spinning frame. The grooves of the roller devide the delivered web by 3∼4 strands that have false twists and the thickness is varied by the traverse of roving guide. The thin strand joints earlier and become wrapping fibers. Thus it has less hairy. Here tested with 3 different fineness wool to study the effect of Solo-spun and gotten as conclusion that the less number of fibers in yarn cross section are, the less the difference ratio between the yarn count of the finer Solo-spun and the coarser ring spun is. Also in the aspects of yarn irregularity, the number of thin places, the yarn strenth and elongation the same phenomenons are observed.
