Introduction to Relational Thinking and the Economy in the Korean Context

관계중심적 사고와 한국에 적용할 관계중심적 경제의 도입

이 논문은 기독교인들이 남한에서 사회적 결합을 구축할 뿐만 아니라 북한과 결합을 구축하는데 기여 할 수 있는 과업을 수행하도록 성경적 기초와 체계를 설명하는 것이다. 우리는 하나님께서 개인, 이해당사자 집단, 국가들 사이에 관계의 질에 최우선으로 관심을 가지신다고 추론한다. 또한, 하나님께서는 성경의 제도적 규범을 통해 관계중심적 국가를 건설하라는 메시지를 드러내셨다고 추론한다. 전통적인 한국문화의 공감을 받는 ‘관계’에 초점을 맞추어서 한반도의 모든 당사자의 주의를 끌 수 있는 체계를 설명한다. 이 논문의 마지막 장에서 기독교인들이 당장 수행할 수 있는 정책과 조직문화를 변화시킬 예들을 제시한다.

This paper seeks to set out the biblical basis and framework for Christians to engage with the task of building social cohesion in South Korea, as well as contributed to building cohesion with North Korea. Our presupposition is that God’s primary concern is with quality of relationships between individuals, stakeholder groups, and nations; also, God reveals in Scripture institutional norms to build a relational economy. By focusing on relationships, which resonates with traditional Korean culture, it sets out a framework which is likely to be attractive to those of all parties across the Peninsula. The paper’s last section gives examples of possible changes in policy and organizational culture which Christians could seek to implement now.
