유아의 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동 간의 상호인과관계와 예측요인

Intercultural causation and predictors of internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of preschooler

본 연구의 목적은 유아기에 나타나는 문제행동에 대한 중요성을 인식하고, 유아기의 각 변인들이 유아의 내재화 문제행동과 외현화 문제행동에 각각 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 종단적인 변화를 살펴보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널의 종단자료를 기반으로 전국 각 지역에 사는 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모 1,231명을 대상으로 한 5차 (4세), 6차(5세), 7차(6세)년도의 3년간 추적 조사한 데이터를 사용하였다. 유아의 내재화 및 외현화 문제행동을 종속변수로 선정하였고, 유아기 문제행동을 예측하는 예측변인으로, 유아의 기질, 어머니의 우울, 아버지 양육참여, 부모의 결혼만족도, 사회적 지원을 선정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기회귀교차지연모형을 활용 하여 검증한 결과, 시간이 흐름에 따라 유아의 내재화 문제행동이 증가하면 외현화 문제행동이 증가하게 되고, 증가한 외현화 문제행동은 내재화 문제행동을 다시 높일수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 내재화 문제행동과 외현화 문제행동은 상호인과관계를 보이고 있음을 나타낸다. 둘째, 다변량 잠재성장모형을 적용한 결과, 유아의 정서성 기질과 활동성 기질이 높을수록 유아의 내재화 문제행동은 높게 나타났으며, 아버지의 양육참여와 어머니의 결혼만족도가 높을수록 유아의 내재화 문제행동은 낮아지 며, 어머니의 우울이 높을수록 유아의 내재화 문제행동은 높게 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지원인 도구적 지원과 정서적 지원을 어머니가 높게 지각할수록 유아의 내재화 문제행동은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 요약하면, 정서성 기질, 활동성 기질, 어머니의 우울, 아버지 양육참여, 어머니의 결혼만족도와 도구적 지지, 정서적 지지는 유아의 내재화 문제행동에 중요한 예측변인임을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to test the causal relationship between the development of internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of infants over three years. And it is analyzed how the infant s personal variables, mother variables, father variables, couple variables, social variables influence internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors. For this purpose, autoregressive crossover delay model and multivariate latent growth modeling were used and adapted to the data taken from the Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC). The internalization and externalizing problem behaviors of infants were selected as the dependent variables and the temperament of the infant, the depression of the mother, the participation of the father s care, the satisfaction of the marriage of the parents and the social support were selected as the predictive variables to predict the problem behavior of the infants.
