댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들의 직업 정체성 형성과정 탐색

Research on the process of dance sport female instructors professional identity formation

본 연구는 댄스스포츠 여성 지도자의 실제적인 경험을 이해하고 이들이 직업 정체성을 형성해 가는 과정을 범주화 및 정형화하여 실체이론을 제시함으로써 교육환 경을 개선해나가는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 이론적 표본추출 방법에 근거하여 6명의 연구 참여자를 선정하였고 2017년 7월부터 10월까지 심층면담과 문서 수집을 실시하였다. Strauss와 Corbin(1998)이 제시한 근거이론 방법으로 분석한 결과 첫 번째, ‘댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들의 직업 정체성 형성 과정의 범주화’를 통해 102개의 개념과 29개의 하위범주, 18개의 범주가 도출되었 다. 두 번째, ‘댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들의 직업 정체성 형성 과정의 구조화’를 통해 패러다임에 의한 범주분석을 실시하였고 각각의 속성과 차원을 확인하였다. 세 번째, ‘댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들의 직업 정체성 형성 과정 구축’에서는 핵심범주로 ‘변화를 통한 성장과 적극적인 참여로 댄스스포츠 여성 지도자로서 자리 잡기’를 선정한 후, 8개의 가설적 정형화 및 관계진술을 토대로 ‘변화희망형’, ‘현재만족형’, ‘성장추구 형’의 3가지 유형을 도출함으로써 ‘댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들의 직업 정체성 형성과 정에 대한 실체이론’을 도출할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 댄스스포츠 여성 지도자들은 다각적인 변화를 시도하였고 학원 내, 외에서의 적극적인 참여를 통해 자신의 입지를 다져나감으로써 지도자로서의 성장을 경험하였으며 현재에 만족하거나 더 나은 변화를 꿈꾸면서 앞으로의 모습을 기대하고 있었다.

this study intends to provide basic data needed to improve educational environment to help dance sports female instructors to settle down smoothly as a leader and to vitalize female instructors quantitatively and qualitatively by categorizing and standardizing the process of forming job identity and suggesting a substantive theory. This study gradually selected 6 research participants based on the theoretical sampling method, conducted in-depth interview, and collected documents. For method of analysis, this study conducted open coding, axial coding, and selective coding according to Strauss and Corbin’s(1998) 3-step analysis, and conducted member check and peer debriefing during the analysis and interpretation process to secure integrity of data. As a result, 102 concepts, 29 subcategories, and 18 categories were derived through a open coding, ‘the categorization of career identity formation process of female dance sports leaders.’ This study arranged categories on 6 components by conducting a domain analysis by paradigm through axial coding, ‘structuralization of the formation process of professional identity of female dance sports leaders’ and identified each property and level. ‘To establish oneself as a female dance sports leader by growth through changes and active participation’ was selected as a core category of axial coding ‘structuralization of the formation process of professional identity of female dance sports leaders,’ and derived three types as ‘hopeful type for changes,’ ‘satisfaction type of present life,’ and ‘success pursuing type’ by conducting typological analysis based on 8 hypothetical standardization and relationship statements. This study derived ‘substantive theory of the formation process of professional identity of female dance sports leaders’. female dance sports leaders attempted multiple changes, experienced growth as a leader by establishing their position through active participation inside and outside the academy, and expected to improve themselves by being content with their present situation or dreaming for changes.
