A Study on the Difference in Household Expenditure of the Rented Household to Housing Price Change

The study sought to identify differences in consumption expenditure and differences in consumption expenditure depending on the characteristics of households with monthly rents. On housing price changes, the analysis was carried out by dividing the housing price into the fall and rise periods, and the resulting difference between consumption expenditure and expenditure items made up of the housing price was identified. This helped to identify clear differences in household characteristics, types of housing and whether housing was owned or not. The analysis of consumption expenditure by housing type showed a slowdown in the consumption growth of multi-family/household(dasaedae/dagagu) housing, and the analysis of consumption expenditure by home ownership clearly identified the asset effects mentioned in many prior studies. In addition, an increase in housing price rising could be seen as a result of a rise in housing-rents costs for monthly-rents households. Finally, the effect of household characteristics on consumer spending at the same time was found to be the most influential regardless of the changes in housing prices. The household size and area of use of the household were found to have an influence on the positive(+), while the age of the household owner was found to have a negative(-). In this study, the household trend survey was analyzed microscopically using cross-sectional data. I hope that various follow-up papers will be made through various time series analysis approaches.
